Optimum are delighted to become an accredited Living Wage Employer.
The accreditation demonstrates our commitment to paying our employees a rate of pay that allows them to enjoy a decent standard of living.
The real Living Wage, which is voluntary, is independently calculated annually by The Resolution Foundation based on the cost of living.
As a growing, socially conscious business, we believe that paying at least the real Living Wage is the right thing to do, and helps us attract and retain the best people. Not only that, we encourage our clients to become an accredited Living Wage Employer as part of their ESG policies and practices. We believe that it’s right to set the right example for our clients.
Optimum Managing Director, Paul Johnstone, commented:
“We are pleased to demonstrate our commitment to rewarding our employees by paying at least the real Living Wage, as part of an attractive rewards package. As a young and growing business, we aim to attract and retain the best people to support our journey, and we recognise the importance of rewarding them with a level of pay that provides them with a good standard of living.
“As a socially conscious business, we believe that this is the right thing to do, and achieving the Living Wage accreditation is a key part of our ESG commitments”.
